Yet more Lib Dem election success in our region

Following the superb by-election win by Marion Bland and the Lichfield team in January, Shropshire Liberal Democrats have now recorded another gain from the Conservatives in a council by-election in Ludlow on 13 March. Increasing the Lib Dem share of the vote by nearly 12%, Andrew Boddington gained the seat in Ludlow North on Shropshire Unitary Authority with a majority of 197 votes. The Tories were second, an Independent third and Labour came bottom of the poll with just 7.4% of the poll.

These results show that the Liberal Democrats are always an electoral force to be reckoned with where there is a record of hard work and local activism.
