Pupil joy as GCSE pass rate increases

Cllr Ann Holtom is campaigning for action on grass verge parking

Responding to the news that the GCSE pass rate for pupils inBirminghamhas increased again this year to 58% for five passes including maths & English at grade C or above, with the pass rate for five GCSE's at grade C or above up from 82% to 85%, Cllr Ann Holtom said: "I am really pleased at these results. The students have worked hard and their work has been rewarded with positive exam results. With all the negative publicity regarding teenagers recently it's good to see positive news about young people who are without question positive role models."
