Lib Dems showcase Birmingham for their spring conference

The spring conference of the Liberal Democrats is coming to Birmingham. Party leader Nick Clegg MP, supported by Shadow Chancellor, Vince Cable MP and other top members of the Liberal Democrat team will meet at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham's city centre from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 March.

Thousands of party members, MPs and councillors will gather in Birmingham for lively policy debate, invaluable training, fantastic networking opportunities, a huge fringe programme and much more. Spring Conference 2010, held in our own cosmopolitan City of Birmingham, will be the last before the General Election. At that General Election, the Liberal Democrats will be the only party offering real change for our country.

The debates at conference will focus on the Liberal Democrats messages for a fairer Britain. As Nick Clegg pointed out recently: "There are hundreds of reasons to vote Liberal Democrat, but there is also just one reason: the will to create a better, fairer Britain by doing things differently."
