Dr Richard Brighton, Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Sutton Coldfield, was a member of a panel of politicians discussing health issues at a pre-election public debate hosted by BBC WM on Wednesday 21 April. An audience from across the West Midlands were able to put their questions to the panel who were joined by a consultant physician. The question time style debate took place at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Richard was debating thees issues with Deirdre Alden for the Conservatives (Birmingham, Edgbaston) and Emma Reynolds for Labour (Wolverhampton North East). They were joined by Dr Dev Banerjee, a Consultant Physician at Heart of England Foundation NHS Trust. The debate was hosted by BBC WM Breakfast Show presenter Phil Upton.
